Manipur: Khemchand Govt wins trust vote; Kukis intensify stir

Kuki Zo communities are continuing their opposition to Kuki MLAs joining the new government. A community organization has announced a total shutdown in Kuki Zo inhabited areas for Friday. On Thursday, protests took place in Kuki Zo areas against Nimcha joining the government. The previous night, Wednesday, a group of Kuki Zo people protested in New Delhi against MLAs who participated in the government's formation. An armed group has released a video threatening Kuki Zo MLAs, warning them not to join the government.
