NYC Subway riders spread holiday cheer with Thanksgiving feast on L train

Generous New Yorkers changed a Brooklyn-bound L train into a moving Thanksgiving celebration, inviting strangers to take part in a complete feast. Adorned with festive decorations and several turkeys, the Friendsgiving gathering welcomed commuters to serve themselves while music was played in the background. Although this year’s hosts are mostly anonymous, the tradition of subway Friendsgiving has become a heartwarming New York City tradition.
