Kolkata: EC serves notices to 8 BLOs, 5 BLAs face FIRs

The electoral roll revision in West Bengal has hit a snag, with show cause notices dispatched to eight Booth Level Officers. Five Booth Level Agents are now facing FIRs for allegedly obstructing the process. Reports indicate that BLOs are encountering undue pressure from the ruling Trinamool Congress.
