Bail to US citizen, 2 Indians held on conversion charge

In a significant ruling, a Thane district court has allowed bail for an American citizen and two Indian nationals who were detained on accusations of attempting to convert individuals to another religion. The court determined that continued detention would not serve any constructive purpose, leading to their release on a bail bond of Rs 30,000 each.
