Logistics Data Bank 2.0 to track containers, trucks in real time

The second version of the Logistics Data Bank (LDB 2.0) will allow real-time tracking of export containers on high seas and trucks within India, aimed at boosting logistics efficiency and reducing costs. NICDC chief Rajat Saini said the system will improve planning, compliance, and global credibility, with features like a live container heatmap to address bottlenecks proactively.
