GE Appliances to invest $3 b in US manufacturing push

GE Appliances, owned by Haier, will invest over $3 billion in its US operations over five years, creating 1,000 jobs across five states. This investment aims to expand its air conditioning and water heating portfolio, increase production, and modernize its 11 US manufacturing plants. This follows similar investments by other global firms after the Trump administration's tariff policies.
