Maha govt scraps orders on 3-language policy amid hindi 'imposition' row

The Maharashtra government has withdrawn its decision to introduce Hindi as a third language in primary schools. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced the cancellation of the government orders. A committee led by Narendra Jadhav will now review the language policy. This decision follows opposition from various groups, including the Language Advisory Committee.
