Graham Staines murder convict Mahendra Hembram released from Keonjhar jail in Odisha

Mahendra Hembram, convicted in the 1999 Graham Staines murder case, has been released from Keonjhar jail after serving 25 years due to good behavior. Hembram, sentenced to life imprisonment in 2003 for the deaths of Staines and his two sons, claims he was falsely implicated. Dara Singh, the other convicted individual, remains imprisoned and has filed a mercy petition.
