CBDT recovers Rs 92,400 crore in outstanding tax

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) recovered ₹92,400 crore in outstanding tax for the financial year 2024-25 until March 15. This includes corporate tax, personal income tax, and tax deducted at source. With more taxpayers expected to file revised returns, the total recovered tax may reach ₹1 lakh crore by March 31, officials stated.
