MVA readies Maharashtra handouts to counter Mahayuti freebies

The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in Maharashtra plans to introduce welfarist schemes in its assembly election manifesto. These plans include paying poor women ₹2,000 monthly, free bus travel for women, free electricity and loan waivers for farmers, and a monthly stipend for unemployed youth. They will also address Maratha quota demands.
