India's budget for infrastructure on China border rose significantly after 2014: S Jaishankar

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar emphasized India's increased focus on border infrastructure with China since Narendra Modi became Prime Minister. He stated that despite lessons from the 1962 war, no progress was made in border development until 2014. The Modi government significantly raised the budget for border infrastructure from Rs 3,500 crore to Rs 14,500 crore.
