Election Commission orders repolling in 11 Manipur stations after violence

The Election Commission of India has announced repolling at 11 stations in Manipur on April 22, following incidents of violence and disruptions during the first phase of polling. The decision comes after polling at these stations on April 19 was declared void. Police have arrested three individuals in connection with the violence, which included firing and vandalism. Despite these incidents, around 68.62% of voters cast their votes in the two Lok Sabha seats in Manipur affected by ethnic violence.
