UK lets Ukrainian refugees stay for another 18 mths

The UK announced an 18-month extension for Ukrainian visa holders. From 2025, refugees who fled Ukraine due to Russia's invasion can apply to stay, ensuring access to work, healthcare, and education. Migration minister Tom Pursglove welcomed the scheme, benefiting more than 283,000 Ukrainians. Britain will also support Ukraine's military efforts.
