Madrasa teachers make do with odd jobs as centre, UP differ on funding

Their supplemented earnings, however, fall woefully short of the ₹15,000 they were taking home every month some years ago teaching subjects like English and mathematics at the madrasas. Both Tahir and Ashraf said their honorariums are stuck for the last six years. ET has learnt that it's because the central government hasn't released its share of the money.
