Criminals, global forces using tech to cause social, economic harm: Shah

Union home minister Amit Shah has called on G20 nations to work together to combat cross-border cyber crime. Speaking at the first G20 cybersecurity conference, Shah warned of the impact of such crime on law and order, national security and the economy. He also urged countries to work to share information in real time, including real-time intelligence on cyber threats. Shah suggested developing a response mechanism under the laws of different nations and government agencies, harmonising best practices and regulations and strengthening computer emergency response teams.
