Must stop efforts to evade sanctions on Russia: Shunichi Suzuki

"Sanctions against Russia are important,'' Suzuki told reporters during the G-20 meeting. It is resolved "to closely monitor the situation and stop efforts to circumvent or evade sanctions.'' Countries led by the US are tightening the supervision of the effects of their sanctions on Russia following its invasion of Ukraine, while there have been suspected dilutions, too, of the curbs.
