Enough grain stocks for all welfare schemes: Food ministry

The Centre has extended PMGKAY - which provides free ration to the poor - by three months, raising concerns about the grain stocks. As on date, FCI has approximately 232 lakh metric tonnes (LMT) of wheat and 209 LMT of rice in the central pool, the ministry said.
