Varanasi fast-track court adjourns Gyanvapi Mosque case to June 8

Civil judge (senior division) Mahendra Pandey held that since the defendants to the suit - which include the UP chief secretary, the district magistrate of Varanasi and the police commissioner of Varanasi as well as the Anjuman Intezamia Mosque Committee - were not given a copy of the plea, they could not file any objection to it.
