Steel cos have agreed to cut prices for MSMEs despite disruption: RCP Singh

Due to the geopolitical situation, global steelmakers, mainly from Germany and the UK, have hiked prices sharply by at least 25%. Indian steelmakers face a similar predicament to raise prices in India. Russia is the second-largest producer of coking coal after Australia. The steel ministry is in discussions to develop a policy to aid the secondary steel sector, which could bring value addition and produce speciality steel.
