'Centre's criteria for bestowing Padma flawed'

The Shiv Sena said on Wednesday that the Padma awards have been awarded to "all and sundry" in the past few years, without any due diligence before handing over the awards. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said there has also been an increasing trend of rejection of Padma awards bestowed by the Centre.
